Students will come away with a good general knowledge of what goes into glass, how to modulate tonalities within a pallet, how to modify working qualities, and how different materials affect the melt and finished glass. Thermal expansion and “fitting” will also be covered. Students will create goblets with different cane working techniques using the glasses we make during the class and other pre-made colors.
