Sandblasting and Photo Sandblasting Glass
Students will explore the fundamentals of sandblasting glass using hand cut stencils. Photo stencils are made by exposing light transmissive art work to light sensitive material using UV light. This process permits the use of detailed imagery such as black and white art, text and photographs. Photos must be made into halftones in advance of class. Please bring halftone positives or high-contrast black-and-white images to class. No glassworking experience is required.
