Working with tubing at the torch has its own set of challenges. Students will learn techniques for blowing tubing, including pulling points, the associated ergonomics, judging wall thickness and uniformity, etc. Projects will include small vessels and hanging ornaments. Some experience flameworking borosilicate glass is suggested.
