A Video Guide to Glassworking Processes and Glass Properties
This educational video archive presents more than 40 short segments on the various techniques employed by glassworkers: blowing, flameworking, cold working, and casting. Objects are introduced, followed by the processes that were used to make them. Other topics include the composition of glass, glass coloring, and annealing.

Instructions for use
The video clips are available in two formats:
.WMV for Windows and
.M4V for Mac (designed to play on video iPods). Please use the format that works best for your computer.
These videos are also available on YouTube , and you are welcome to embed the videos from YouTube in your own website. If you embed them, we would appreciate a link back to our site.
Note that the files are fairly large (up to 9MB). If you experience problems when playing the videos (excessive buffering, etc.), download the video files to your hard drive first, and then watch them from there. To download, right-click (Ctrl-click on a Mac) and save the file to your hard drive by selecting "Save Target As..." (or "Download Linked File" on a Mac).
