2300°: Drums, Whistles, Fire & Ice

Our February 2300° heated up the coldest month of the year, with live music by “Big Leg Emma,” giant ice sculptures, Whistleworks and glass whistles, and a lively outdoor drumming circle that kept everyone warm. Oh, and let's not forget samples of Finger Lakes wines and great food!

Music by Big Leg Emma
Big Leg Emma is not a single person. In fact, Big Leg Emma is six talented musicians who use %%bits%% of bluegrass, country, folk, funk, reggae, roots rock, and everything in between.

Outdoor Whistleworks Steam Whistle and Drumming Circle
Artist Greg Worthington returned with his Whistleworks sculpture featuring glass whistles and lots of steam. A drumming circle led by Steve Calkins provided a lively background!

Flameworking
Bob Carson, Jared Brody, Eric Goldschmidt, John Hargrave, Edward Hammond will make glass whistles.
