2300°: St. Paddy's Day, Eh?

A cool north wind brings us Canadian glassblowers and musicians for an Irish-themed evening filled with live glassmaking, and great music, food and drink.

Last chance to see “Worlds Within: The Evolution of the Paperweight”
Explore the world of paperweights, from microcosms encased in glass to whimsically shaped objects. Don’t miss the world’s largest glass paperweight— a 107-pound Megaplanet created specifically for The Corning Museum by artist Josh Simpson.

Glass Demonstrations by Laura Donefer
Donefer will fire up the glass stage with her flamboyant glassworking presentation, incorporating vibrant colors with innovative sculptural glassblowing and beadworking techniques.

Music by Town Pants
This Vancouver, Canada-based band combines aspects of Irish traditional, acoustic pop, roots Americana, even Australian and Mexican influences, to create their own unique brand of “West Coast Celtic.”

Irish-Themed Refreshments Available
Enjoy our spin on traditional Irish fare and a bounty of complimentary hors d’oeuvres. Members receive one free ticket for either food or drink with presentation of membership card.
