2300°: Winter Solstice

Extend the shortest day of the year with a Winter Solstice celebration, featuring music by Entrain and a western-themed glassmaking performance.

Music by Entrain
Groove-heavy music, Entrain “merges funk, rock, reggae, swamp, and worldbeat rhythm into a sweaty good time...” says The Boston Herald.

Western-Style Glassmaking Demonstrations
On the shortest day and longest night of the year, “The Sun and the Moon Have Something to Say.” This western-themed performance art piece will feature the creative stylings of Gigi Alvare, director of education at the Rockwell Museum. Inspired by her art, the Museum’s gaffers will heat up the night with colorful glass interpretations on the Hot Glass Show stage.
