Evening for Educators

The Studio
|
November 20, 2014 4:00pm to 5:30pm

Museum staff will give you a preview of the new exhibition space opening in March, and WSKG's youth-focused team will present an overview of public media resources to support your classroom.  Learn how to navigate PBS LearningMedia, a free, standards-aligned online learning library, and how to access materials from PBS shows such as Sid the Science Kid, Mission: U.S., NATURE, and NOVA.  Local projects such as Agnes: The Flood of '72, Good to Know: Common Core Math, and Kids in Motion will also be highlighted.  Engage with educational multi-media from PBS and leave with a teaching toolkit from your local public media station.
