Holiday Break Activities

Make the Museum part of your holiday celebration! Take your family’s picture in front of our 14-foot ornament tree or giant glass snowmen and go on a Winter Wonders Gallery Hunt. Enjoy extended Make Your Own Glass hours (fee) and take part in the You Design It; We Make It! feature at the Hot Glass Show. An affordable way to spend the holiday break, admission for area residents is just $6, and kids and teens, 19 and under, are always free. Please note that the Museum is closed December 24 and 25, and January 1.

Glassmaking Demos
Watch as expert glassmakers transform molten glass into beautiful objects at the live, narrated Hot Glass Shows. Don’t miss the Flameworking and Glassbreaking Demos. All demonstrations take place in the Innovation Center area, giving you a truly in-depth look at how glass is made.

You Design It; We Make It!
Submit a drawing of something you’d like to see come alive in glass. At select Hot Glass Shows throughout the day, glassmakers will choose a drawing and make that piece from start to finish.

Make Your Own Glass Ornament or Snowman
All ages can create a sparkling glass holiday ornament or miniature glass snowman! Other projects are available as well. Book online today.
