It’s a mind printer. GlassLab is a way to print out a very fraction of a moment, of emotion, of a thought, of a feeling. Glass is magic; liquid to solid in a second.

Arik Levy was born in 1963 in Tel Aviv, Israel. After serving in the Israeli army, and then managing a graphic design studio and a surf shop in Tel Aviv, Levy moved to Europe. He studied industrial design at the Art Center Europe in Switzerland, graduating in 1991. From 1992 to 1994, Levy taught at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle in Paris. He also produced stage sets for the Grand Théâtre de Genève, the Finnish National Ballet, and the Batsheva Dance Company in Israel.

Levy co-founded Ldesign in Paris with the designer Pippo Lionni in 1997. Their projects range from industrial, lighting, furniture, and accessory design to interior architecture and set design. Their clients include Adidas, Swarovski, Baccarat, Vitra, Ligne Roset, and Lanvin.

Levy has been the recipient of numerous international awards for his designs, including the Good Design Award in 2011, the Grand Prix Stratégies du Design Award in 2010, the Red Dot Design Award in 2008 and 2009, the ELLE Decoration International Design Award for Designer of the Year in 2008, and the Design PLUS Award in 2008.
