Jason Miller, Jason Miller Studio
Jason Miller was born in New York in 1971. He received a B.A. from Indiana University in 1993, and an M.F.A. from the New York Academy of Art in 1995.
From 1995 to 2001, Miller worked in the studios of sculptor Jeff Koons and designer Karim Rashid, and as an art director for the advertising and public relations firm Ogilvy and Mather in New York. In 2001, he founded the Jason Miller Studio.
Miller designs furniture, lighting fixtures, household products, and interiors. His work has been included in solo exhibitions in Tokyo, Milan, Istanbul, New York, Miami, Los Angeles and Toronto. Clients include Areaware, Persol, Brookstone, Carlo Rossi, Kikkerland, and Idee.
In 2010, Miller founded Roll & Hill, a New York City–based manufacturer of high-end contemporary lighting by international designers, where he works as CEO and Director. Miller was named Designer of the Year in 2010 by the Brooklyn Museum.
