Hot Glass Roadshow Travel Schedule

Hot Glass Roadshow Travel Schedule

The Corning Museum Hot Glass Show has been around the world, thanks to mobile hotshops developed by the Museum. In 2002, the Museum launched the Hot Glass Roadshow, a fully equipped mobile glassblowing stage that could be pulled on the back of a tractor trailer. Five years later, the Museum developed ultralight, portable modular equipment that could be easily deployed in a diversity of environments. The result? Hot glass can go almost anywhere you can imagine.

With GlassLab, a design program of The Corning Museum of Glass, designers bring their sketchbooks, and we bring the glass. In public design performances or private sessions, designers and glassmakers collaborate, rapidly prototyping concepts and using the immediacy of hot glass as a catalyst for innovation. Learn more
