Black notebook with orange lining containing two pads, one of which is dated 1913 and includes the day of the week and the date, but not the month. The second pad has 7 cut tabs across the bottom which are labeled Au, B, G, P, W, T, R. Cover hinge is tattered.
Includes recipes for au ruby, hard glass, pomona, soda glass, flint with S/and Pb3O4, regular flint with Sel., alabaster yellow to match dome lights, soda glass, etching paste, polishing, frosting bath, soda batch, Crookes 91B, quezal green, golden amber, 39T noriweld, alb. for au., yellow alabaster, au opaline, yellow opaline, au Fe brown, au blue for casing, celeste blue, black, flint brown or amber, brown for flint, blue to work with flint, olive green, royal purple, pomona green, sp. white, F white, topaz, dark topaz, trial for golden topaz as E.A. Co. sample, ruby for flint, sel. ruby, and Cd S yellow.
