Correspondenzbuch III
Notes:
Cover title.
Drafts of business letters, in German and English.
Displayed in the exhibition titled "The Blaschka sea creatures : inspiration and creation", held at the Rakow Research Library, May 18-November 9, 2007.
Although this is noted as "III", The Rakow Library does not have any earlier Correspondenz Buch, although a later one is also designated as Correspondenz-Buch III.
Henri Reiling's "Annotations to the Blaschka material : drafts of business letters and business results" provides background information for this, as well as a list of dates, recipients and location of recipients. This book includes correspondence with South Kensington Museum (now the Victoria and Albert Museum), a Mr. Hudson (possibly the Engländer who ordered the first glass animal models).
This title is in the Blaschka archive.
