Satiric lithograph of late 20th century glass making; a spoof of the engraving of "The pit of Memnon" from The travels of Sir John Mandeville, which includes a plate depicting a late 15th c. Bohemian glass factory.
Gift of Richard Posner in 1984.
Displayed in the exhibition titled "Heart stampin', crucible bustin', & pipebendin': inside studio glass", held at the Rakow Research Library, May-November 2009.
