[1], labeled Delphinium nudicaule is of nineteen views, mostly of petals and stamen, of plant with details in green, orange, yellow, and brown. Drawing on p. [3], labeled Saxifraga (aizoon) umbrosa, is of twelve views, mostly exterior, of plant including one larger view of entire flower; some detailing highlighted in orange, green, pink, and brown. "I" and "II" are penciled in along left edge.
Delphinium nudicaule, is a flowering herb commonly known as the canyon larkspur, red larkspur, orange larkspur, and canyon delphinium and is native to California and Oregon. Saxifraga umbrosa is a perennial plant.
This drawing is part of a series of botanical drawings created by the Blaschkas to reference in constructing glass models for the Botanical Museum of Harvard University.
