Design concepts for eyeball buoy with variations and flag.
Buchanan-Smith collaborated with gaffers Chris Rochelle, Eric Meek, Annette Sheppard, Jason Minami, and Adam Holtzinger July 21-22, 2012 during his time at GlassLab at Governors Island. The glass object that resulted from this image is GL215.
Buchanan-Smith started his own design studio, Buchanan-Smith LLC, in 2006 and in 2009 founded the company Best Made Co.
GlassLab provides an opportunity for designers and glassmakers to collaborate by using hot glass as a catalyst for innovation.
