Drawing is a pyrography, paper burned by glass, of vessel with two handles on double layer of wet Rives BFK cotton rag paper. The hot glass is used as a stamp by pressing onto paper to make imprints that can never be reproduced again, as the glass disintegrates after making its distinctive mark.
Archival linen strips attached to upper corners of verso.
"A Gant" -- signed below drawing.
"Anne Gant, 2010, #3" -- penciled in on lower left corner of verso.
Photographed August 2010 (Photography no. 1000093975).
