Displayed in the exhibition titled "Drawings for American Stained Glass" held at the Rakow Research Library from May 17-December 31, 2010.
Drawing depicts Father White giving Maryland's first Catholic mass in 1634; he is preaching before a cross and makeshift altar to a group of kneeling Native Americans. In the background are tepees, palm trees, and rolling hills.
