Rod Denson, a television reporter for an Elmira television station begins by reminiscing about the hours prior to and just after the flood, talking to several people who had been affected. Karen Finney with WSKG takes a lunchtime walk down Market Street in Corning talking to business owners who experienced the flood. A conversation with Jerry Wright, current archivist for Corning Glass Works, discusses the affects of the flood on the company and how the company was instrumental in the recovery of the community. The Corning Museum of Glass and it's Library were greatly affected by the flood and Virginia Wright, associate librarian for The Library discusses the problems associated with the Museum's collections.
