Photograph, originally black and white, is of two bowls. Bowl on left, labeled "171" is of decorated with head of flower and and winged leaf handles and flared foot; this bowl is colored in with shades of pink. This bowl was likely created in 1927. Bowl on right, labeled "176", is decorated with three overlapping starfish; a band of starfish surrounds upper portion of bowl. This bowl is colored in with shades of light pink. The Star bowl was created in 1924.

Measurements are penciled in near each bowl.
"Les Pates de Verre d'Argy-Rousseau, 9, Rue du Simplon, Paris" -- stamped in red ink on upper right corner of board verso.
Gabriel Argy-Rousseau founded the Société Anonyme des Pâtes de Verre d'Argy-Rousseau in 1921 with Gustave Moser-Millet; in 1931, due to financial reasons, Moser-Millet dissolved the firm.
