Photograph, originally black and white, is of Greek frieze vase, labeled "263", colored in with orange, dark green, and yellow. Band goes around circumference of vase, over roped oval decoration. "G. Argy-Rousseau has been etched on lower portion. This vase was created in 1927.

Measurement is penciled in to left of vase.
"Les Pates de Verre d'Argy-Rousseau, 9, Rue du Simplon, Paris" -- stamped in red ink on upper right corner of board verso.
Gabriel Argy-Rousseau founded the Société Anonyme des Pâtes de Verre d'Argy-Rousseau in 1921 with Gustave Moser-Millet; in 1931, due to financial reasons, Moser-Millet dissolved the firm.
