Using testimonies, archives and historical re-enactments, this film traces the history of master glass artist Guido Nincheri, dubbed "the Michelangelo of Montreal." Born in 1885 in Prato, near Florence, he studied Fine Arts for 12 years. He fled his homeland in the First World War and arrived in Montreal in 1914. Inspired by the classical traditions of the Renaissance, Nincheri designed stained glass windows and frescoes for more than two hundred buildings in Canada and New England, particularly in churches. Nincheri died in 1973 after a long and prolific career.
