Amy Schwartz gives a brief introduction about the video and about featured artist William Gudenrath. Gudenrath shares with viewers his background, describing both his philosophy and approach to his work, tying together his passion for music, blowing glass and teaching. Included are demonstrations of creating an optic tumbler and a dragonstem goblet. In conjunction with Jutta Page, Gudenrath discusses other Venetian techniques by examining examples from the Museum's collection.
