Patrick Hogan narrates this video/slideshow which documents his visit to Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral in Kansas City, Missouri in 2008. The purpose of his visit was to view seven stained glass windows designed by his grandfather, James Humphries Hogan who worked for James Powell & Sons (Whitefriars). Six of the stained glass windows were designed for the chancel, and 1 for the nave. Windows are named: Annunciation, Nativity, Baptism, Crucifixion, Resurrection and Ascension; the nave window is named: Nunc Dimittis. Patrick notes that records indicate that the original designs for these windows are located in the Manchester City archive, but to date they have not been found. Cartoons for these windows will become part of the archive collection of the Corning Museum of Glass in 2008.
Filmed in the Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral in Kansas City, Missouri.
Narrator, Patrick E. Hogan.

Title from title frame.
Video includes black and white photographs of James and Edmond Hogan (his son) at work at their desks. An early film clip from the factory shows Edmond (father of Patrick) working on cartoons from original drawings. Although there is no evidence, he may very well have worked on the cartoons for the windows of Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral.
"The glorious masterworks of Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral", by Randal J. Loy is expected to be published in 2008/2009 and will include the histories of the artists and the companies who made the windows.
