Mrs. T.E. O'Brien shares her memories regarding the glass cutting shops in Corning, NY: J. Hoare & Co., T.G. Hawkes & Co., H.P. Sinclaire & Co., Egginton & Company, Mullford's, George W. Drake, Thomas Hunt & Co., Almy & Thomas. She indicates that much of the glass blanks used by these shops was purchased from Dorflinger, heavier blanks were purchased from Corning Glass Works. Much of her recollections are from the years in which she was secretary for Mr. H.P. Sinclaire.
