After the eruption of Mt. St. Helens on May 18 1980, Hank Claycamp developed a formula of ash and glass, and created Mt. St. Helens Ash Glass. He holds the trademark, making the only authentic ash glass from the Mt. St. Helens mountain. Work includes handblown christmas ornaments, kerosene lamps, courting lamps, everlites, glass fruit, paperweights, vases, and coral vases.
