Notes
Design drawing includes text description with four images of sea foam "including an outrageous incident of massive sea foam in Australia in 2007". Lee's interest is "to see how close one can mimic the frothiness of sea foam with hot glass".
Helen Lee collaborated with gaffers Eric Meek and Chris Rochelle July 7-8, 2012 during her time at GlassLab at Governors Island. This design drawing was not turned into glass or the glass was not kept.
Lee is an artist, designer, educator, and glassblower currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
GlassLab provides an opportunity for designers and glassmakers to collaborate by using hot glass as a catalyst for innovation.
