Notes

Design drawing includes seven pages of proposals for blown glass shape variations based on seven different wireform shapes and their differing uses with glass. Also included are six pages of images of wireforms.

David Weeks collaborated with gaffers Lewis Olson and Adam Holslinger July 28-29, 2012 during his time at GlassLab at Governors Island. The glass objects that resulted from these designs were not kept.

David Weeks Studio was founded in 1996 in New York, where Weeks designs lighting, furniture, and household products.

GlassLab provides an opportunity for designers and glassmakers to collaborate by using hot glass as a catalyst for innovation.
