After an introduction to drinking customs, Kenneth Wilson discusses 17th-19th century vessels: liquor bottles, flasks, water and carbonated beverage containers, bitters bottles, Amelung pieces, early 19th century English and American objects (blown, engraved, blown-three-mold, cut, pressed). He includes decanters, tumblers, goblets, and wineglasses. A question and answer session follows.
