Rosa Barovier Mentasti begins her lecture about foreign artists who were able to enter the glassworking circle of Venice, and the influences they brought with them. Around 1914, Venetian glassblowers began to deviate from their traditional well-known type of glassware and moved towards more contemporary styles of glass.
