Carder sketchbook. Part of the Frederick Carder papers.
An image of leaf [2] was included in the article "Frederick Carder: sketching his vision" by Elizabeth Hylen. The article was published in the Glass Art Society's Journal, 2008. The objects (a green marble bowl with a metal foot; a green agate bowl with monture in gold and stones; and a rock crystal bowl) are identified as being from the Galerie d'Appolon of the Louvre.
Accompanied by a luncheon ticket dated Nov. 14, 1887 for the opening of the new Town Hall in Stourbridge, and an envelope addressed to Messrs. Mason & Carder, (Hon. Secs. to New Art School), Wordsley, Stourbridge.
