Photograph is mounted on light tan board; dimensions including board are 27 x 21 cm.
Photograph, originally black and white, is of Tragi-comic lamp labeled "66". Both lamp shade and base are similar in decoration and colored in with shades of pink, purple, and gold. Circle motif surrounds shade and base once each; human faces with various emotions surround base underneath circle motif. This lamp was created in 1922.
[Plate] "25" -- typed in black ink on upper left corner of photograph.
Measurement is penciled in to left of vase.
"Les Pates de Verre d'Argy-Rousseau, 9, Rue du Simplon, Paris" -- stamped in red ink on upper right corner of board verso.
Gabriel Argy-Rousseau founded the Société Anonyme des Pâtes de Verre d'Argy-Rousseau in 1921 with Gustave Moser-Millet; in 1931, due to financial reasons, Moser-Millet dissolved the firm.
Previously this photograph, and eleven others, was considered part of a trade catalog, BIB 55037.
