First sketches are of a design for a hand mirror in gesso and a book cover for "Songs of Scotland". Includes sketches of human figures, various decorative motifs, birds, botanicals and glassware. Last 34 leaves are blank with 2 designs for glass vases on recto of last page: "green lines & diamonds" and "green lines & pillars".
Design on leaf  is dated Oct. 1900.
