Gianni Toso, glass artist.
Filmed during the Glass Art Society's 21st annual conference, May 10, 1991, Corning, NY.
Toso renews Suzanne Frantz's theme of craft vs. art, and then uses slides of his work (lampworked figures, scenes, heads, chess sets, masks) to review his philosophy. One of his themes is the importance of understanding the message and not just the symbol.
