Czechoslovakian Diary: 1980

The director, deputy director, and 20th-century curator of The Corning Museum of Glass spent 10 days in Czechoslovakia meeting contemporary glass artists and choosing objects for a special exhibition of Czech glass held at The Corning Museum of Glass in 1981.

Written in diary form and illustrated with the objects chosen, this book is an account of their experiences. It includes then director, Thomas Buechner’s, photographs of artists, their homes, and studios.
