Our Girl Scout Programs are designed to assist Scouts in meeting some of the requirements for national badges. These programs book quickly, so start your reservation today!

Art

Discover the art of glass in our galleries. This tour covers the many techniques of glassworking, the history of glass jewelry, contemporary female artists, and more. Also, enjoy a live glassblowing demonstration at the Hot Glass Show.

Science

What innovations changed how people made glass throughout history? How has glass made our lives easier and expanded our knowledge of the universe? Discover the answers to these questions and more as you explore the science and technology of glass. On this tour, you will also enjoy a live glassblowing demonstration at the Hot Glass Show.

Cost: Kids and teens are free; adults pay admission. One chaperone is admitted free for every 10 scouts.

Fun with Glass Program

Scouts can get acquainted with The Studio of The Corning Museum of Glass, meet glass artists at work, and create two glass crafts of their own. Craft activities will vary depending on group size, age and experience. This program takes approximately two hours for groups of 10 or more and does not include a guided Museum tour.

Some items will need overnight cooling and will either need to be picked up the next day or shipped (additional fee).

When: Fun with Glass programs may be scheduled 7 days a week.
Cost: $28 per person (includes two activities). Additional fee for shipping (some items must cool overnight).
Registration: Required. A minimum of 10 participants is required. Start your reservation here.
