2 Fragments. (73.1.41-1) Colorless glass, with yellowish-green tinge; blown in an open mold, enameled. gilded. Flared rim beaker; fragment preserves part of rim and body; rim rounded by reheating; thin red enamel line below rim defines wide register with kufic inscription outlined in red and filled with blue enamel "relief"; some traces of gilt fill remain; (73.1.41-2) colorless glass, with slight greenish tinge; probably blown, enameled, gilded. Unknown vessel; small body fragment preserves red enamel line with gilt kufic inscription above and below; red and blue enamel painted on interior surface for background colors.
