Pair of Scent Bottles. Transparent dark blue lead glass; blown, cut, gilt; stamped metal mounts. Flattened shape of oval cross-section; straight sides; short neck with molded gilt metal collar, open at the top to receive stopper (missing); rounded shoulders with gilt arrowhead decoration; the sides covered with hollow-cut diamond facets; gilt decoration: on one side, an Oriental figure standing amidst trees and flowering plants, a simple fence alongside, and on the reverse, elaborate flowers and butterflies; polished, flat base.
