Cylindrical shape with rounded shoulder, long bulging neck, tooled crown lip, two vertical mold seams, inscription on obverse: "WEST END BREWING CO/UTICA N.Y." in a circle around "REGISTERED"; below "THIS BOTTLE IS NEVER SOLD", on reverse near base "THIS BOTTLE/MUST BE RETURNED/WHEN EMPTY"; on base "759C".
