Primary Description: 
Pitcher with Inscription. Almost colorless glass, with bluish green tinge. Blown (body and base blown in mold with two vertical sections). Pitcher: globular. Rim plain, with rounded lip; neck shaped like truncated cone, narrower at bottom than at top; shoulder slopes and descends in two shallow "steps"; wall curves out, down, and in; base appears to be narrow disk, but is hollow on inside and slightly concave at center of underside; pontil mark circular (D. 1.7 cm). Decoration on wall consists of two continuous horizontal bands with no border between them. Upper band contains Kufic inscription in high relief. Lower, narrower band contains 18 raised triangles with adjoining bases. Mold seam extends over wall and base from shoulder to shoulder.
