Primary Description:
Bottle. Transparent grayish blue, with many small and few large bubbles. Blown (body blown in full-size mold with two vertical sections); cold-painted. Bottle: cylindrical. Rim in form of horizontal flange with rounded edge; neck cylindrical; shoulder slopes steeply; wall vertical; base plain with low kick; pontil mark roughly circular (D. about 1.9 cm). Mold-blown decoration on shoulder and wall: on shoulder, ten contiguous flat panels; on wall, extending from top to bottom, continuous pattern of diamond-shaped bosses: pattern has vertical rows of six complete bosses and horizontal rows of 16 bosses. Cold-painted decoration on neck and shoulder: plants with light green stems and leaves, and small pink flowers, each with four or five petals; plants “grow” out of bottoms of panels on shoulder and in most cases extend to top of neck; plants appear to be growing on or in fromnt of pale yellowish brown trellis.
