Primary Description: 
Translucent black, blue, gray and colorless 24% lead glasses; blown, overlaid, stone wheel cut, sandblasted, acid polished. Heavy thick-walled low bowl comprised of several layers of glass -- from outside to inside: thin black, thick colorless, thin bright blue; thin colorless, thin gray; rim has been sawn then ground into two interlocking bevels slanted in opposite directions; exterior is hand and acid-polished to a matte finish; inside gray layer has overall sandblasted textera through which the blue layer can be perceived; footless base has been ground flat and polished; signed and dated on bottom of base: "Rachel Woodman 1985".
