Compote. Large compote or bowl on standard; lead glass; circular bowl flaring to outfolded rim and supported by an applied clear stem resting on broad circular foot; bowl made from three gathers of metal - a layer of opaque white on the inside covered by a gather of amethyst decorated with loopings of milk-white, and the outside then covered by a casing of clear glass.
