Primary Description: 
Covered Daumenglass (Thumb-Beaker). Transparent light and pale green glass with few minute and large bubbles and many grains of unfused sand; free-blown, with applied tooled parts. (a) Oval, barrel shaped body with large dome-like "kick-up" base and rough pontil mark at its center; (b) set-in domed cover with pear shaped finial which has swirling ribs and rests on a disk, crimped ring on shoulder; on body six applied "thumb prunts" with pontil marks, below rim three applied rings with crude joints, two of them partly cross notched, at bottom three similar cross notched rings, bottom ring serving as foot.
