Primary Description: 
Transparent yellowish green glass, with stone and other small inclusions; translucent grayish blue blobs; blown; parison perhaps rolled on marver to pick up blue chips, then reheated and further inflated. Cup. Rim outsplayed and cracked off; wall descends vertically, then curves in toward bottom; base plain; no pontil mark. About 3 cm below rim, continuous horizontal band of seven small, irregular blobs. Between rim and blobs, irregular continuous band of very lightly incised lines. Rectangular paper label with handwritten inscription attached to base: "TEURONTIC DRINKING / GLASS OF THE FRANKISH / PERIOD. MEROVINGIAN / I illegible| 8TH c 74K".
