Cup. Almost colorless, with yellowish tinge; gold foil. Blown; decorated with foil, cased, ground. Cup: roughly hemispherical. Rim plain, with ground lip; wall tapers, then curves in at bottom; base is slightly rounded and has, at center, abraded oval depression (L. 1.8 cm). Entire object is cased. Wall is decorated in gold foil with two continuous horizontal registers. Upper, narrower register contains row of about 29 disks, framed above and below by plain border. Lower, much wider register contains nine upright palmettes alternating with nine motifs resembling calykes on narrow stems, all of which have scratched details, standing on continuous groundline. At center of base (when seen from inside), single bird in profile, facing left.
