Primary Description: 
Mottled tan/brown stoneware; molded (probably slip cast). Flattened ovoid shape with a flying eagle on each flat side, each bird flying to the viewer's right but looking back to the left; rounded collar, oval base. Paper label with "GARDNER/COLLECTION/1201" below eagle on one side, another with "1898" above eagle on other side and one with "BKNN/Hoffman" on base.
