Primary Description: 
Aquamarine glass; mold-blown; plain lip, pontil mark. Obverse: Lafayette, large bust in uniform, nearly full face. Reverse: American Eagle, head turned to left; shield with eight vertical bars on breast, wings partly raised. Thunderbolt (four arrows) in left talons, olive branch in right. Eagle stands on oval frame with inner band of twenty-one medium-size rays. Above eagle sun rays. Inscription: "GENERAL LA FAYETTE" in semi-circle above bust; reverse - "T. W. D." in oval frame below eagle; no inscription on edges. Edges: heavy vertical medial rib.
