Primary Description: 
Light aqua non-lead glass; mold-blown. Ovoid shape with plain lip; Eagle and shield with thirteen stars above and branches below; reverse has American flag curled around a flagpole and "FOR OUR/COUNTRY" on either side; vertical ribbing on edges; ring pontil on base. Leather cover is stitched up one side and has been slit along stitching; line of stitching at lower edges indicates that case either had a base or was sewn together along lower edge; both sides of case have imprint of design on flask.
